Wyke Farms

Rebrand and integrated campaigns.

Challenge

Wyke Farms is a family-owned business that has been making award-winning cheese for generations in the heart of Somerset – the natural home of Cheddar. But this wasn’t coming through strongly enough in their branding and communications. It was time to find a new way to tell a traditional story and unlock the power of their heritage, for the trade and consumers.

Idea

We repositioned the brand so it showcased their craft, provenance and love for the land, after all they’re 100% green. We ensured this shone through in everything, from their new logo and packaging, to the photography and tone of voice. We also created a new consumer-facing website that gave an insight into the brand’s wonderful story, while also functioning as an eCommerce site to sell their products.   

Impact

Thanks to our re-brand and campaign work, we helped position Wyke Farms where they belong, as the No.1 selling farmhouse Cheddar in the UK. Since going live the campaign has resulted in an extra 160,000 packs being sold per month. The website also won the 2016 Wirehive 100 ‘Consumer Site of the Year’.
