Our task was to develop and execute a social strategy for Del Monte Europe, in order to increase fans, followers and levels of engagement. Handling every aspect of their social account, from the generation of content through to community management and reporting, means that we have a completely hands on approach across all their social channels; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. By focussing on the freshness and quality that the brand is known for, we’ve implemented new weekly competitions, tips for leading a healthy lifestyle, recipes and a Facebook app for the Christmas campaign.
So far we have seen increases in fan and follower numbers, as well as rates of engagement, for our new strategy and fresh look and feel. In particular Facebook has seen almost a 20% increase in fans, with our series of #FruitFunFriday competitions contributing to this, as well as a higher level of likes, shares and comments.
