We’ve grown organically as an agency since we started in 2003, but now we want to supercharge that trajectory by hiring an ambitious, focused and affable Business Development Manager. You will be working in our business development team, working closely with our Managing Director.

Applicants must have strong, proven business development experience, together with excellent key account management skills. Experience working within a creative/agency environment is highly advantageous, although not essential.

Knowledge, skills and attributes required:

  • Produce target lists of potential new clients based on matching the agency’s skill set with established client needs
  • Approach potential new clients through email, telephone, LinkedIn etc. to secure an agreed number of meetings with qualified leads
  • Take briefs from potential clients
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential new clients as required
  • Work with the wider team to pull together tender responses and directly contribute content for bids
  • Support the business development team towards converting active leads into live work
  • Research and identify new business development opportunities
  • Work with the Managing Director to identify and manage risks
  • Represent the agency professionally at all times
  • Experience in lead generation is essential
  • Sales or business development background
  • Support the tracking and evaluation of all proposals, bids and tenders
  • Able to think creatively and articulate ideas
  • Able to work competently in a deadline-driven environment

  • Experience with researching tender portals to identify potential opportunities
  • Work with the wider team to pull together tender responses and directly contribute content for bids
  • Experience selling branding, creative services, digital & eCommerce as well as ongoing communications to prospects
