It's time to meet our football-loving, and all round good human – AKA 'Mr Typography' and self-appointed Global Head of Culture & Vibes. Strap in, here's Flaggy.

What do you do at TJ?
Senior Designer.

Which brand is killing it at the moment is…
I actually think KFC is nailing it at the moment. Despite the difficulties last year, the PR masterclass which followed chicken-gate was brilliant (talking *that* ‘FCK’ ad). Also, their ‘Chicken Town’ advert is one of my favourite ads this year.

My favourite brand refresh is…
Paula Scher/Pentagram’s rebrand of New York’s Public Theater. I love typography, and this just smashes it out of the park. Lush.

The work I’ve been involved in at TJ that I am most proud of is…
The Wyke Farms rebrand work. Growing up a few miles from their farm, it was amazing to work on the entire refresh, and it’s been great to see the brand develop into what it is today.

I think the biggest opportunity for brands today is…
It seems to be a popular choice for everyone here; but in the current climate, brands have – more than ever – an opportunity to embrace a long-term positive impact on the world. While attitudes are shifting towards an increase to sustainability, brands have a real opportunity to experiment and develop in new ways.

The one app I would highly recommend everyone should use is…
The Premier League Fantasy Football app… Especially when you’re at the top of the league (for now, at least…)

Who should everyone follow on social media?
I’m an absolute sucker for letterpress print, and Anthony Burill’s work is awesome.

If I didn’t work at TJ I would be…
An Olympic swimmer. Hey, the 12-year-old me can dream.

The one word I would use to describe TJ is…
Energetic.
