Let's get to know Charlotte – possibly the only person at Thinking Juice who has the skills to write, direct and perform in 'TJ: The Musical'. We're told that her pug Holly has a big-hitting solo in the final scene.

What do you do at TJ?
Copywriter.

A brand I think is killing it at the moment is…
For the past couple of years, I’ve found myself drawn to Mulberry — I love their vision for high fashion in a pop-culture setting. I especially loved their ‘My Local’ campaign this Summer, where typical London pubs were injected with a high-brow Mulberry boost; the contrast was such a “YES!” moment for me.

My favourite brand refresh is…
Unpopular opinion but I really enjoyed the Zara rebrand. They moved from something very clean and straightlaced to something that felt like an ownable stamp that speaks more to their approach to fashion.

The work I’ve been involved in at TJ that I am most proud of is…
Writing the script for the Barbour Christmas ad (featuring none-other than Raymond Briggs’ beloved Father Christmas) was special on so many levels. Working with the animators from the original film, hearing it come to life at the voice recording, and then sitting down with my family to watch the final result made me feel incredibly proud to have been a part of the festive ads that so many of us consider a staple of the season.

I think the biggest opportunity for brands today is…
To share their truths. This is a time for ultimate transparency. People want realness and respect the brands that put their heart on a plate — good, bad or ugly.

The one app I would highly recommend everyone should use is…
I’m not sure about recommending…but my most used apps would be Asos, Audible, Treatwell, Netflix and Dominos (and pretty much in that order).

Who should everyone follow on social media?
Reese Witherspoon is kind of my hero right now. She leads her own media company that is dedicated to giving female writers and actors a voice — whether turning a great book into a tv series or sharing incredible works through her online book club.

If I didn’t work at TJ I would work…
I’d love to be on stage. As my poor poor co-workers will testify, I love a sing-a-long and my plans for ‘TJ: The Musical‘ are well and truly underway.

The one word I would use to describe TJ is…
Real. If I didn’t come here to work, it would just be such a pleasure to hang out with all the people who work here and I think that’s what makes our work so great because it’s always a team effort.

What, you didn’t think the copywriter could use just one word, did you?
