Vikki Shearing, Head of Information Management at Dorset Fire and Rescue said: “We wanted to provide our communities with a site that met their needs and makes them safer – we know that our users want information about incidents we attend, what’s going on in their area, what jobs are available and how to keep safe. Increasingly, they want to do this through mobile devices and social media.”
We delivered a responsively-built website that functions seamlessly across mobile, desktop and tablet platforms, and continues to engage with users across various social platforms. Intuitive elements of the website include a live incident feed that appears across all pages, keeping users up to date on incidents as they’re happening.
Vikki adds: “By working with Thinking Juice, we’ve developed a site that responds to our users’ needs and the end result is something we are really proud of.”
Guy Stradling, TJ’s Head of Digital, says: “We’re really happy with how the site is performing – it looks great and the new functional elements really help to give users an understanding of the hard work that Dorset Fire put into their community to make Dorset safer.”
