How do you get beer-drinkers to sample some award-winning local ales and showcase how fiercely proud the brewery in question is of their Dorset roots? Build a standout mobile bar and serve pints to patrons at key regional events, of course.


This summer, as part of a wider integrated brand campaign, we set to work transforming a vintage VW van into a beautifully-branded Badger Bar on wheels.

Kitted out with fresh barrels of the brewery’s most celebrated beers, our converted camper toured the South Coast giving thirsty residents and seasonal visitors the chance to enjoy some expertly crafted ales at a number of seasonal events – including food and drinks festivals and even sites where we were hosting branded camping weekends.

“We wanted to develop a symbol to celebrate a balmy Dorset summer aligned to our Back to Earth campaign; that epitomised the festival spirit and was right to deliver Badger's ‘Anything But Black and White’ character. By working closely with Hall & Woodhouse teams to convert an iconic retro VW T2 camper van with the same ethos as a H&W pub further maximised our opportunity to deliver a great result for Badger and just do something really cool.”

As well as giving Badger the chance to engage with existing fans, our mobile bar also gave drinkers who were currently unfamiliar with brand’s characterful beers the chance to try some of their excellent brews.

After a successful season driving around sunny Dorset, Badger’s camper van is now taking a well earned break, but will be back on the road next spring.
